Stock your freezer with pasture raised lamb! We charge $5.50/lb for the live weight of the lamb. This is an all inclusive price. This price covers the butchering fee. All of our lambs are processed locally at Barnes Butcher Shop, located in Camden, Ohio. They are a USDA inspected facility. Delivery- We can make arrangements to deliver directly to you if you are within an hour of Oxford, Ohio or you can pick up on the farm.
How much will it cost? Lamb weights for fall butchering range from 65-80 lbs live weight, (which would be and you can expect from that approximately 22-35 lbs. of lamb and depending on the cuts you choose. If you would like a lighter lamb, then we can certainly pick one out that will fit your freezer and your budget!
What will you get with the share?- Cuts will largely determine what you end up with and I will help you decide which cuts to will work best for your meal preferences. But, you could get a leg of lamb, a shoulder roast, lamb shanks, lamb chops, kabob/Stew , ground and 2-3 pounds of bones for broth, and any offal you would like.
All of our lambs are raised on pasture that have not been sprayed with synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. They forage on clover and grass pasture and are not given antibiotics or grain.
A deposit of $100.00 is required to secure a lamb for processing and the balance must be paid before I pick up the lamb from the processor. The deposit is taken off of the total balance due.
