Stock your freezer with pasture raised lamb! We charge $5.00/lb for the live weight. When you purchase a ½ share, you are paying $5.00/lb for ½ the live weight of the whole lamb. For example: If the lamb weighs 100 pounds, you will be charged $5.00 x 50 lbs. 

This is an all inclusive price with transport to and from the processor and the processing fee. All of our lambs are processed at Winners & Sons, located in Osgood, Ohio, which is a USDA inspected facility. You can either pick up the lamb from us at the Oxford Farmer’s Market, or we can make arrangements to deliver directly to you or meet somewhere between. Lamb weights for fall butchering range from 80-100 lbs, If you would prefer vacuum sealed cuts, then there is an additional $15.00 to cover that cost. Otherwise, the cuts are Styrofoam/plastic wrapped.

For our premium Lamb 1/2 shares, customers can expect about 15-19 pounds, and is perfect for the freezer and for as few as two people. In a 1/2 share, you can anticipate the following delicious cuts: Ground/burger, Kabob, two shanks, lamb chops, one leg of lamb, and one shoulder roast. If you would prefer different cuts or portions, we can certainly do that as well.

All of our lambs are raised on pasture and fed orchard grass hay that we have custom baled every year on our farm. Our lambs are weaned naturally, meaning we do not separate them from their mothers. As they age, the lambs have access to locally sourced, non-gmo feed to eat as they choose. This helps promote the weaning process naturally, and reduces stress on both ewe and lamb.

A deposit of $50.00 is required to secure a lamb for processing and the balance must be paid before picking up the lamb from the processor.
